This "Vedet" art deco styled Grey basin and pedestal was manufactured in England by "Standard" circa 1940/50's. Used but refurbished to almost as-new condition (see note* below). This vintage 3 taphole bathroom basin/sink and pedestal is a very high quality glazed vitreous china item, very substantial with inset ridged soap recesses at either side of the tap holes and would make a striking statement in a retro art deco inspired bathroom.

Note*: These basins are over 60 years old, and have most likely been in use for the majority of that time. Therefore although in extremely good condition overall with no cracks, there will be minor marks or abrasions on the surface of the glaze and the brassware will have areas of damaged or missing chrome. We do supply the basin with its original waste fitting still attached - these can be very difficult to remove so we recommend retaining the original waste to avoid damaging the basin.
