"Standard" Vintage Corner Washbasin / Sink Ming Green (circa 1940/50's)

Genuine 1940's/1950s vintage 2 taphole corner washbasin manufactured in England by "Standard" in the colour Ming Green, used but refurbished to almost as-new condition (see note* below). This bathroom basin/sink is a very high quality glazed vitreous china item, with 2 tapholes and a hole for a stopper with chainstay, inset ridged soap recesses at either corner and bow front. A beautiful addition to a retro bathroom or a focal point in a new bathroom installation.

Overall height from bottom of basin edge to top of upstand: 290mm
Height of upstand at the wall: 150mm
This 1940/50s basin was designed for wall-mounting on cast brackets.
Note*: This basin is over 60 years old, and has most likely been in use for the majority of that time. Therefore although in extremely good condition overall with no cracks there are some minor marks or abrasions on the surface of the glaze, and the brassware will have areas of damaged or missing chrome. We do supply the basin with its original waste fitting still attached - these can be very difficult to remove so we recommend retaining the original waste to avoid damaging the basin.
